Deer Photographed Eating Human Remains For The First Time
Researchers at the Forensic Anthropology Research Facility at Texas State University have documented (with motion sensing camera) a deer feeding on human remains. For this to happen, the scientist place human bodies in the wild so they can see how human remains decompose in the wild.
This is “the first known photographic evidence of deer gnawing human remains,” the researchers explained in their study, recently published in the Journal of Forensic Sciences.
